Ingredients
Scale
Ice Cream Mixture
- 1 container (1.75 quart) vanilla ice cream
- 1 container (8 ounces) Cool Whip, thawed
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Corn Flake Topping
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 cups crushed Corn Flakes cereal
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Toppings
- 1/4 cup honey
- Chocolate syrup, for drizzling
- Caramel sauce, for drizzling
Instructions
- Soften Ice Cream: Take the vanilla ice cream out of the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes, allowing it to soften slightly for easier mixing.
- Prepare Corn Flake Mixture: Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the crushed corn flakes and granulated sugar, stirring constantly. Fry the mixture for up to 5 minutes until the cereal turns golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
- Layer Bottom Crust: In a 9×13-inch baking dish, spread one-third of the corn flakes mixture evenly across the bottom. Set aside.
- Mix Ice Cream and Cool Whip: In a large bowl, combine the softened vanilla ice cream, thawed Cool Whip, and cinnamon. Use a spatula to stir thoroughly until well blended.
- Spread Ice Cream Layer: Evenly spread the ice cream mixture over the corn flakes crust in the baking dish.
- Add Remaining Corn Flake Topping: Spread the remaining corn flakes mixture evenly over the ice cream layer.
- Drizzle Honey and Freeze: Drizzle the honey over the top layer. Cover the pan with plastic wrap or foil and place it in the freezer. Freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight until firm.
- Serve with Sauces: Cut the dessert into squares and serve with drizzles of chocolate syrup and caramel sauce. Optionally top with whipped cream and a cherry for an extra festive touch. Enjoy!
