Description

Christmas Cookie Lasagna is a delightful no-bake layered dessert featuring a buttery Oreo cookie crust, creamy cheesecake-flavored layers, and festive holiday sprinkles. This easy-to-make treat combines crushed vanilla Oreos, cream cheese, whipped topping, and instant cheesecake pudding for a luscious, party-perfect dessert that requires no oven time.

Ingredients

Scale

Crust and Topping

  • 48 vanilla Oreo cookies, divided
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons holiday sprinkles, divided

Cream Cheese Layer

  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 container (8 ounces) whipped topping
  • ½ tablespoon holiday sprinkles

Pudding Layer

  • 1 package (3.4 ounces) cheesecake instant pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • ½ tablespoon holiday sprinkles

Topping

  • 1 container (8 ounces) whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dish: Optionally line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper to make slicing easier later on.
  2. Crush Cookies for Crust: Crush 36 vanilla Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor.
  3. Make Cookie Crust: In a large bowl, mix the crushed cookies with the melted butter until well combined.
  4. Add Sprinkles and Press Crust: Stir in ½ tablespoon of holiday sprinkles into the cookie mixture, then press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust.
  5. Beat Cream Cheese Mixture: Using an electric mixer, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  6. Fold in Whipped Topping and Sprinkles: Gently fold one container of whipped topping and ½ tablespoon holiday sprinkles into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
  7. Spread Cream Cheese Layer: Evenly spread this creamy mixture over the pressed cookie crust layer in the baking dish.
  8. Prepare Pudding Layer: In a medium bowl, whisk together the cheesecake instant pudding mix and cold milk until smooth. Let it set for 3 minutes to firm up slightly.
  9. Mix Sprinkles into Pudding and Layer: Stir in the remaining ½ tablespoon holiday sprinkles into the pudding, then spread this pudding layer evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  10. Add Whipped Topping Layer: Spread the remaining container of whipped topping over the pudding layer evenly.
  11. Decorate with Crushed Cookies and Sprinkles: Crush the remaining 12 Oreo cookies and sprinkle them along with the last of the holiday sprinkles evenly on top of the whipped topping layer.
  12. Chill Before Serving: Refrigerate the completed dessert for at least 4 hours or freeze it before slicing and serving to allow layers to set properly.

Notes

  • For easier slicing, use parchment paper to line your baking dish before assembling the layers.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is softened to avoid lumps in the cheese layer.
  • Allow the pudding to set fully for the best texture in the layered dessert.
  • This dessert can be made up to one day in advance and kept refrigerated.
  • Freezing the dessert will firm it up faster but may require thawing slightly before serving.
